Day 1: Ouarzazate – Anti Atlas – Agdz – Draa Valley – Zagora
Pick up at the hotel where you are staying in Ouarzazate at 8 am to start the route to the Erg Chegaga desert
Prepare to be amazed!
Today we say goodbye to Ouarzazate, it was a former military garrison and today it is the administrative capital of the Drâa Valley, taking our path through the so-called Los Oasis route. We will cross Ait Saoun and its 1680 meter mountain pass, impressive lunar landscapes.
We continue through the Drâa Valley, 210 kilometers of palm grove that made this route one of the most beautiful in Morocco. Formerly this valley was traveled by countless commercial caravans from Black Africa.
We arrived at Zagora, considered the gateway to the desert, as its poster says «Timbuktu 52 days».
Tonight will certainly be quiet!

Day 2: Zagora – Tamegroute – M’hamid – Erg Chegaga Desert
After breakfast, we head to the Erg Chegaga desert passing through the village of Tamagroute, where we will have the opportunity to visit one of the oldest Quranic libraries in Morocco, then the nearby kasbah famous for its potters factory.
Lunch will be served in M’hamid at free time and lunch on the go, then we depart towards the Erg Chigaga dunes crossing different characteristics of the desert “hamadas & oasis”.
We will leave in a caravan of dromedaries that will take us to the camp, we will make a stop halfway to see the sunset over the dunes and stretch our legs a bit before continuing to the camp.
Typical dinner and then with the local nomads who play local music.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we leave the desert with varied landscapes heading back towards Ouarzazate crossing the old track of the “Paris Dakar Rally”.
Then to Foum Zguid, the first village after the desert, where the asphalt road begins, after lunch we continue to the Berber village of Taznakht, famous for its Berber rugs and rugs.
We arrived in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, at the end of the trip and our services.
